What's New?
This is an exciting topic for me to write about. The newest version of the Living Waters Jazz ensemble now includes some new personalities, equipment and tunes to begin this new adventure with. We've compiled a new CD called Get Up! Eleven great songs, some familiar, some very new but all a joy and blessing to hear performed. Whereas in the past the Living Waters Jazz orchestra included no vocals, that has changed.
On five of the eleven songs for this album Dave Bentley has contributed his voice (tenor). Scott Clawson plays a featured piano solo on the first cut and a fellow we know only as Muffit has contributed his own music and lyric writing skill.
The band has changed to a little smaller than the previous version of Living Waters Jazz. Now there are two trumpets, two trombones, three saxes (alto, tenor and bari), drums, piano and guitar.
The performers that make up the band have changed too. More aggressive in style and size these guys have some mean chops anxiously waiting to perform for you.
